From the artistic brilliance of comic artist Joe Mad (Uncanny X-Men) comes an epic battle on Earth that we puny humans wouldn’t dare stand in the way of.

You are War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, responsible for keeping balance between the forces of Heaven and Hell of Earth. Unsure of how it happened, War has started Armageddon when a powerful demon called The Destroyer tricks him, leaving War to pick up the mess of mankind’s destruction.

Fighting demons, stray angels, mythical enemies, all while trying to exact revenge on the trickery The Destroyer pulled on you. Watched over by the simply named The Watcher (the Jedi-turned-voice-artist extraordinaire Mark Hamill) by the Charred Council to help you along the way.

This adventure game combines elements of action and puzzle-solving that will keep your interest aflame. Think a Demonic hack-and-slasher with the format that strays itself from the Devil May Cry gameplay format. War lugs around an epic sword called the Chaoseater, as well as secondary weapons to whip out for different occasions. RPG elements kick in when your weapons level up, increasing damage. Collecting souls as currency, you’ll have a chance to upgrade your weapons, buy new combos and items that save you from total annihilation.

This version of Darksiders is the Japanese version, with Japanese voice acting and subtitles.
