Amazing trilogy - as good on DVD as it was the 1st time in the cinema. Incredible adaptation of Tolkien's book, and the extras are fascinating. Well worth getting the extended editions!

I adore LOTR and the extended editions are amazing!! I read all the books and beyond and i had to get the films! They are so re watchable eevn when you get to the quoting each line stage and laughing BEFORE the punch lines!!!

This is the big box that has almost everything they made. That is the biggest pro AND con with it. There is no way I am going through all that talking. I do like when they explain things, but there is so much that is slow going and uninteresting.
The films are well made and there are some really nice scenery in it.
!But! there are also some slapstick comedy in it. And that is ruining it a little for me. But that is about the only thing I can complain about.
So if you don´t have these films and are thinking of getting them, look at your dvd-shelves and decide that you have place for this wonderful and complete box somewhere...

Such an entertaining trilogy this is!
I absolutely fell in love with these movies once they had come out and I still am a massive fan!
Engaging battle scenes keeps you entertained the entire way through and excellent acting from a star-studded cast makes this one of the best movie series to ever be made!
Overall, briliant, engaging, thrilling and picturesque landscapes makes this a must buy!
