When Spanish teacher Will Schuester takes control of a choir group for students of William McKinley High School called the ‘glee club’, he’s met with a few challenges: A demanding wife, a co-worker sparking feelings towards, and dodging the sabotage of cheerleader coach Sue. The singers are facing enough struggle as it is being teenagers, but with the goal set on the Nationals, the teenage performers still manage to sing and dance through a repertoire of songs. The show has covered 70 tracks in the first thirteen episodes, with a mixture of show tunes and the latest on the music charts. From Kanye West, Rihanna and Kate Perry to the older songs of Queen, Salt-n-Pepa, and Journey. Cast members of Glee bring extensive experience from their stage work, some coming from Broadway to bring the excitement of live performance to the television. - © Emily Corine
